  • Abstract
    Techniques from two seemingly unrelated areas, X-ray transmission tomography and ground wave propagation attenuation (at much lower frequencies), are combined to produce a technique for imaging the dielectric properties of an inhomogeneous surface. A small-scale imaging experiment at microwave frequencies is described, demonstrating the potential for the technique
