Abstract
High-temperature superconducting materials can be used to fabricate microwave circuits with very low insertion loss and high Q values. Using computer simulation, the authors have shown that the loaded Q for certain microstrip configurations, which can be readily fabricated with simple lithographic techniques, can be made as high as the more difficult to produce dielectric resonator filters or surface acoustic wave (SAW) filters
