Abstract
A near optimum joint detection decision feedback maximum likelihood detection algorithm (DFMLD) is developed by the authors to support the recently proposed code time division multiple access (CTDMA) scheme for third generation mobile communication systems. The analytical and simulation study shows that the proposed detection scheme may be used to improve the spectra efficiency of CTDMA systems
