Abstract

Public opinion index system(POIS) is used to measure and evaluate public opinion included in microblog platform, which consists of four aspects: Information source index(ISI), geographical index(GI), subject index(SI) and industry index (II). Based on real-time detection and feature analysis of user behavior, information dissemination and trend included in weibo.com, POIS can provide a more objective, comprehensive, in-depth evaluation and analysis by different quantitative method and help supervisors to timely monitor the concerned public opinion.
