President´s report

At its September meeting in New York, the AdCom approved two modifications of the Constitution and Bylaws of our Society. The first concerns the creation of two new international vice-presidents to coordinate activities in Regions 8 and 10. The second brings up to date Article II of the Constitution to accurately describe the field of interest of our Society. The current Article II was written quite some time ago and was not changed even when we changed our name from Circuit Theory Group to Circuits and Systems Society. Carl Kurth, Ken Laker, Ben Leon, and Tim Trick have contributed to the drafting of the new Article II.
