  • Abstract
    The primary objectives of this study were to investigate two areas: (i) the somatogravic illusion profile, in order to determine if a daylight visual scene in the advanced spatial disorientation demonstrator can achieve visual dominance over nonvisual vestibular orientational inputs; e.g., otolith and semicircular ducts; and (ii) evaluating the effects of rotation on pitch perception, in order to determine if there is otolith-semicircular canal interaction, which may cause reduction of the somatogravic perception
