Abstract
Based on video image analysis technology, the automatic referee system at the finishing line makes the sports arrangement, records and timing more automatic. This article expounds the structure and the design of the proposed automatic referee system, the key technology, and the characteristics of the system. Proved by the practice, the application of this system can make the sports referee fair and reasonable, accurate and efficient.
