  • Abstract
Through taking the county in Kunming as the research area, relying on the spatial analysis function of GIS and utilizing moran I index, the global and local spatial autocorrelation analysis is made on eight-year GDP data in Kunming City. The results show that Kunming downtown, Anning City and Yiliang County took the lead in the spatial development in the past eight years, but the spatial development is still unbalanced. In this paper, based on the spatial correlation research of the counties in Kunming city, it is proposed to strengthen the spatial connectivity with other economically-developed cities according to the spatial structure characteristics in Kunming city, enhance the spatial autocorrelation of the economic region for the balance of spatial development, and consider the direction of urban development from a larger area coverage, so as to promote the sustainable development of the city.
