Ship design and construction short course to be given at M. I. T.

Under the auspices of the Education and Training Section of the United States Shipping Board, Emergency Fleet Corporation, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology is arranging to convert young engineers and architects into naval architects and shipbuilders to aid in designing and constructing vessels for America´s great fleet of merchant ships. As the supply of technically-trained men is not sufficient to meet the demands of the shipyards, the Institute will increase the supply by giving a ten weeks´ course of instruction beginning September 30th, at Cambridge, Mass.
