  • Abstract
The effect of neodymium and boron content was studied for the Nd7+xFe79-x+y-zB14-yTiz (x=0, 1, 2; y=0, 1, 2; z=0, 4) system. The alloys were prepared by melt-spinning and suction casting. The highest magnetic properties (JHc=648 kA/m, Jr=972 mT, (BH)max=143 kJ/m3 ) were achieved for the melt-spun Nd8Fe74B14Ti4 alloy. This was caused by Ti addition and was related to the convenient combination of the phase constitution and fine crystallite size in the range of 15-30 nm.
