    This is the first book on AC drives that deals with the various systems catering to the needs of graduate level students and practising engineers. The first five chapters give an excellent introduction to power devices, AC machines, power electronic converters such as phase-controlled converters and cycloconverters, and voltage-fed and current-fed inverters.
