Abstract
Every television production must have electric power for lighting, cameras and a variety of technical equipment. Away from studios, portable and mobile generators are often essential, with the actual power requirement depending on the nature of the production. Different types of generating sets are described, varying in size from 1 kW sets which can easily be carried, to 40 kW truck-mounted sets
