  • Abstract
    In an optical code division multiplexed system digital baseband and subcarrier signal have been simultaneously transmitted over the same fibre using spectrally encoded LEDs. Electrical frequency reuse for the subcarrier signal is demonstrated. The insensitivity of the optical multiplexing approach with respect to temperature variation of the transmitters is experimentally proven
