  • Abstract
Antennas, such as stacked patches, often employ low permittivity substrates, such as foams, but these tend to be fragile and difficult to glue. The authors show that low permittivity materials may instead be synthesised by perforating standard microwave substrates. Results from practical and numerical experiments are presented
