Abstract
The development of an ultrasonic reflection tomography system is described. The system is intended for the imaging of two component flows (such as gas/water) inside pipes of industrial processes. Data acquisition is performed using a digital signal processor and a network of parallel processors perform the image reconstruction. Real-time images are obtained at rates of up to 55 frames per second using 36 non-intrusive transducer elements in a 4 inch pipe
