Guest Editorial - Special Issue on Modeling and Advanced Control in Power Electronics

This is the third special issue proposed on behalf of the PELS Technical Committee on Modeling, Simulation and Control. From the many high-quality papers submitted, the editorial team selected 40 papers for publication in this special issue. The 40 selected papers are divided into five topic areas and split between the November and the December online issues, as follows: 1) Digital Control of Switching-Mode Power Supplies (9 papers, November Issue); 2) Grid-Connected Converter Modeling and Control (8 papers, November Issue); 3) Three-Phase PWM Converter Modeling and Control (6 papers, November Issue); 4) Nonlinear Control of DC-DC Converters (7 papers, December Issue); 5) Device and Circuit Modeling and Analysis (10 papers, December Issue). The sequence in which the papers appear within each topic area is of no particular significance, although we have attempted to place together papers that deal with similar subjects or problems within each topic area.
