Abstract
The need for ubiquitous connectivity to achieve an always-on, always-connected world is driving the recent developments in multidisciplinary wireless technologies and applications. Different IEEE Societies, such as the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S), the IEEE Communications Society (COMSOC), and the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (AP-S) are coming together in an effort to revolutionize the required technology developments in this ever-increasing interdisciplinary landscape.
