Abstract
In this paper we consider the problem of predicting the results of a fixed-length preliminary test. Formulae of this s-confidence are presented for a wide variety of fixed-length reliability tests and preliminary test results. The -results also apply if the preliminary test consists of the initial portion of the reliability test itself.
