Finding Fulfillment Through Service to Others [Women to Watch]

Anita Salmon, a senior hardware engineer at National Instruments (NI), a global company that provides test, measurement, and embedded systems for engineers and scientists, joined the company after graduating from Rice University in 2000 with a bachelor´s degree in electrical engineering. In her time with the company, she has developed products for diverse applications including sound and vibration, machine vision, and automated test. She has also represented NI in standards development activities, chaired a US$540,000 employee charitable giving campaign, and championed NI´s recruiting efforts for her alma mater.
