  • Abstract
    The paper presents a simple and fast algorithm for evaluating the unavailability of a series-parallel system and its partial derivatives with respect to the unavailabilities of the constituent components (sensitivity analysis). This algorithm is particularly suitable for design of optimum system reliability.
