Abstract
A detailed and comprehensive methodology for the assessment of the cumulative ground wave electric field resulting from the widespread deployment of digital subscriber line (xDSL) technologies is introduced. Example calculations for a typical British city using asymmetric digital subscriber line (ADSL) technology are given, thereby providing the means to examine potential implications for present and future radio services
