    On 14 February 1996, the University of Pennsylvania celebrated the 50th anniversary of the dedication of the first electronic digital computer, named Electronic Numerical Integrator and Computer or, to be short, the ENIAC. This article focuses on the patent aspects of the ENIAC development as distinguished from the technical aspects.
