Research of traction battery safety standards

Traction battery is the core of electric vehicle (EV) and restricts the development of EV. But its safety is a problem which is focused on by most consumers. This paper contrasts and analyzes the difference of test methods and requirements of domestic and foreign relevant standards and regulations based on traction battery pack/system safety. It researches the test methods and requirements which are more in line with the reality of our country. It is helpful for related personnel to draft more reliable and safer test standards.
