I Approach with great enthusiasm the privilege of serving as the new Editor-in-Chief of the TRANSACTIONS ON SEMICONDUCTOR MANUFACTURING. The electronics industry has impacted nearly every human endeavor. As one of the primary drivers of this industry, semiconductor manufacturing has bettered the lives of people around the globe. The collective effort of engineers to advance the state-of-the-art testifies to the human spirit. And they are still inventing and imagining.
