Abstract
There is no doubt that manufacturers of all sizes have gained efficiencies from speeding up the supply chain, by improving communication with suppliers and customers. But many are just beginning to see the real benefits of not just exchanging data, but sharing online information more effectively with partners. The author looks at EDI and other technologies, and sees some signs of how their use will change over the next few years
