  • Abstract
    The delay behaviours of phase-shifted Bragg grating filters are analysed. It is shown that a ripple-free delay curve can be realised by properly selecting the grating length ratio, which is important for applications of such filters for channel selection in wavelength-multiplexed optical communication systems
