Converting an equal multi-section Wilkinson power divider to an unequal one

An approach to the design of an unequal multi-section Wilkinson power divider based on the equal one is presented. The isolation and reflection responses of the proposed unequal multi-section divider are almost equivalent to those of the equal one of reference. Two samples of unequal Wilkinson power dividers with 3-sections and 4-sections have been constructed and measured. The simulation and measurement results are in good agreement with each other.
