  • Abstract
    Researchers from Korea have developed a prototype of a high performance MEMS contact switch that could be used for a range of V and W-band communications and radar systems. Their design, which uniquely operates in a horizontal as well as a vertical direction, overcomes the problem of high-frequency signal transmission when the switch is off; something that is inherent in other MEMS contact switch designs.
