  • Abstract
    A two-mode radar altimeter on board a cost-effective microsatellite is proposed for sea state monitoring. The new additional low resolution mode is used to achieve improved normalised radar cross-section σ0 measurement with the antenna having an off-nadir look angle up to 0.5°
