Abstract
For the first time, the preparation of thin films of superconducting Pb2Sr2Y0.5Ca0.5Cu3O8+ delta material using standard bulk target preparation conditions and the laser ablation technique is reported. In common with much of the bulk characteristics, it is found that the width of the superconducting transition is large, extending from Tc,onset between 70-83 K and Tc,zero between 16-20 K.
