MTT-S Bylaws Amendments: Submitted By Mohammad Madihian, Chair, MTT-S Operations Committee

During the June 2011 meeting of the MTT-S Administrative Committee, a motion was passed creating a subcommittee, co-chaired by Kate A. Remley and Dominique Schreurs, tasked with ensuring the MTT-S Constitution, Bylaws, and other governance documents use gender-neutral language. The subcommittee found several instances in the Bylaws that could be amended to utilize gender-neutral terminology. Proposed amendments were approved by the Administrative Committee unanimously in the October 2011 meeting. These proposed amendments are listed in a table along with the current version of Bylaw section. Changes are recommended to insure our governance documents use gender-neutral language. These amendments have been approved by the IEEE TAB.
