President´s Message

You may think this foolish, but one thing I was seriously copcerned about when I was told that I won the election for President was that I would not be able to hold a smile while waiting for the camera to snap at the Awards Banquet. However, what I didn´t count on was that the incredible excitement of the award winners is infectious. Sometimes during the ceremony it was annually hard not to laugh. Now, there is nothing better to me about the AP-S presidency than giving an award. It is thus with great pleasure that I announce to you the establishment of a new Antennas and Propagation Society Magazine IEEE Edward E. Altshuler Prize Paper Award.
