  • Abstract
The recent progress of the potential main payload of the Solar Polar ORbit Telescope (SPORT) mission, a space weather mission proposed by the National Space Science Center, is introduced in this paper. The main payload of SPORT is essentially an interferometric radiometer using synthetic aperture technique, and the time sharing clock rotation to implement the visibility sampling. The progress on system design, including frequency selection, payload configuration, rotation scan schemes and image retrieval are presented in this paper.
