Abstract
The equations relating perturbations of the open-loop transfer-function matrix of a multivariable linear system to those of the closed-loop transfer-function matrix and its inverse are obtained in a new and straight-forward manner. Finite and infinitesimal changes are treated with equal facility, and the condition for feedback to improve sensitivity is adapted to the inverse Nyquist method. A simple example is presented.
