Abstract
This paper presents a tracking control circuit designed with a standard TSMC 5V 0.35-μm CMOS technology for smart vehicle. The infrared rays are used to detect the distance between the traffic lanes and the vehicle position. The proposed tracking control circuit can correct the vehicle position when the vehicle represents a departure from its traffic lane. Moreover, because the external relays are replaced by integrating the MOS transistors in the control circuit, the response time and board area are effectively reduced.
