  • Abstract
    Imaging radiometer platform perturbation reduces the image quality by distorting the scan path and varying the incidence and tilt angles of the antenna. This scan simulation-based study quantifies the effect of the perturbation on the image quality, indicating that the mean pointing error should be less than 0.2×3-dB beamwidths
