  • Abstract
    The available analysis for fully-controlled thyristor convertors does not cover all possible modes of operation. In this correspondence a new mode of operation is suggested. This new mode results in an increased range of operation with continuous conduction. This has significance in the regenerative braking of convertor-fed d.c. drives.
