Abstract
In the condition of the single station observing the sea, the signal to noise ratio of the targets can be improved by registering and fusing the video signals from dual radars employing different bands in order to advance the detection rate. In the approach, the math model of the video signal register is described; against the random motion of the targets at sea, the time constraint for the linear register is proposed; with the analysis of the envelope correlation from different radars, the register theory of the mutual information is proposed and the register course of the global optimization is present; the register effect is tested by the real radar data from C and S bands, which would well help the detection.
