  • Abstract
    The Southern Railway has completed a vast microwave network covering a route length of 2000 km. To prove the existence of `line of sight¿, optical tests were successfully conducted even over hops of 100 km. In certain cases, microwave propagation tests were conducted. The details of the field tests conducted are briefly explained in this paper.
