Abstract
The reflection and transmission of arbitrarily polarized and obliquely incident plane waves by a unidirectionally conducting screen are studied. It is observed that the transmitted and reflected waves have no component of the electric and magnetic fields, respectively, in the direction of condition of the screen, which suggests use of such a screen as a polarizing filter at microwave frequencies.
