Dear Members of Circuits and Systems Society [President´s Message]

Writing a welcome message for 2011 is an interesting challenge in comparison, reflections, and looking forward. The recent CAS Presidents are all well accomplished and have strong records in serving the Society, with many notable achievements as described in the Past President´s Message by Gianluca Setti in this issue. Following the footsteps of these excellent leaders will be difficult, thus instead of vision, let me offer a sense of perspectives for the coming year.
