    This note provides corrections and comments on a previously published paper (ibid. vol. 34, pp. 860-876, 1986) about optimum and mismatched detection against K-distributed plus Gaussian clutter. Similarities and differences between optimum and suboptimum detectors are discussed based on the new mathematical results
