Abstract
In this paper, the system capacity of multihop Decode-and-Forward (DF) relaying networks under adaptive transmission techniques is studied over Rician fading channels. In particular, three adaptive transmission techniques including constant power with optimal rate adaption (ORA), optimal simultaneous power and rate adaption (OPRA) and truncated channel inversion with fixed rate (TIFR) are considered. Based on the approximated end-to-end signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), the closed-form expression of the system capacities is derived. Monte Carlo simulations are conducted to corroborate our analysis results.
