Abstract
There is a demand in India for venues for purchasing music for mobile phones via means other than the Internet. Although two-thirds of mobile users in India are already listening to music on their mobile devices, often illegally or through unaffiliated vendors, there are more than 700 million mobile phone users that music sales cannot reach through the Internet. This article presents ideas for reaching such users.
