  • Abstract
    The authors provide simple explicit expressions for the parameter σ for the three types of two-pairs used by P.P. Vaidyanathan and S.K. Mitra (1982, 1984) in the synthesis of bounded real digital transfer functions. The most evident application of these new results is in automated procedures for digital filter design based on the two-pair extraction approach
