Abstract
This issue starts with an article by Meyyappan and Lee, which discusses fabrication technique and potential applications for inorganic nanowires. As the authors write: “Material science is at the heart of the nanotechnology revolution, and development of nanomaterials is key to its success,” inorganic nanowires are an important nanomaterial that will offer many new applications in nanodevices just like carbon nanotubes.
