  • Abstract
    An X-cut LiNbO3 2*2 polarisation independent digital optical switch operating at 1.3 mu m is reported. Polarisation independent switching is demonstrated with a switching voltage of +or-30 V, crosstalk <-17 dB and insertion loss <5.7 dB.
