Abstract
First, the authors want to state the importance of slot dipole resonance in the design of light and thin waveguide-end arrayed slots antenna once again. The arrayed slots antenna flanked with grooves is based on the slot dipole resonance and offers the advantage of low profile reaching about 1/4 wavelength, which is much smaller, which has a thickness larger than 1/2 wavelength. This point was proved in Beruete et al.´s latter work. Furthermore, arrayed slots antenna with grooves not only realizes beaming effect in the E-plane, but also helps to achieve the narrow beam in the H-plane. These results are the main topics and originalities of our work are not embodied in Beruete et al.´s work.
