From the editors´ desk

In most issues of the magazine, we feature summaries of DEIS-sponsored meetings and conferences with photographs taken at some of the events. It seems that most of us like to see photographs of ourselves at such events. From time-to-time we also publish highlights of AdCom meetings, announcements of upcoming meetings, and items of interest on DEIS folks. This time we have none of the above. However, we feature five articles in this issue.
