  • Abstract
    We have simulated and fabricated a liquid crystal based terahertz spatial light modulator. Our patented terahertz in plane and terahertz out of plane (TIP-TOP) switching technique enables the liquid crystal cell to be switched over two orders of magnitude faster than ordinary methods thus making it suitable for use in terahertz spatial light modulation.
